A little while back I had the pleasure of working with a great crew of artists to create a unique advert for @thejewelhut. My main role was to write, direct and co edit the project of which now has over two million views on #youtube. My still images from the two day video shoot were only really used for behind the scenes spin off projects to compliment the now very popular main advertising campaign. Here is one of my shots of @miriamrodriguezjuarez from the water scene I created.
One of my many still images from scene one for the @thejewelhut advertising campaign. This frame literally took hours to set up simple because of the ridiculous amount of jewellery we had allocated to the shot and the look of our model @sophie_amiller. The 46 second Youtube advert I wrote & directed now currently has over two million views.

I was invited to take some sunset advertising shoots of this stunning venue just on the outskirts of Dubai called La Cala. You can wakeboard right in front of your friends dancing, sipping boozy juices and listening to great music under the lush Arabian sunset! Here's one shot off of a beautiful roll of film.
I was recently invited to take photos of Teddy Sheringham & Darren Anderton where they would be the guests of honour at a very private football Q&A party at Brown Shipley & Co in central London.
With quite a serious light show going down, it was wicked to capture some cleaner images in what was quite a dirty nights entertainment. This evening had Large and very loud remixed all over it.
I was invited by HQ Creative Dubai to creatively document the World Heritage Site Qasr al Muwaiji! The Birthplace of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Shoot took place from Dusk til Dawn and here's a handful of my favourite images from that day.
Qasr al Muwaiji is an impressive structure that has watched over the oasis for around 100 years. It was built in the early years of the 20th century in the time of Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa the First by his son Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Khalifa. After Sheikh Khalifa’s death, the fort passed to his son Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa. Throughout this time, it was a simple but striking building: a square enclosure with projecting corner towers and a grand entrance gate. It was used as a diwan (a council or seat of governance) and as a place for the community to congregate.
The exhibition HQ Creative designed and constructed is housed in an elegant glass-walled space within the courtyard of Qasr al Muwaiji, it tells the story of the fort and its inhabitants. It focuses in particular on HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HH Sheikh Khalifa was born and raised at Qasr al Muwaiji, and it is fitting that it is now home to an exhibition celebrating his life and achievements.
More info on this stunning venue can be found here.

HQ Creative presented a fantastic spectacle at last years National Day Celebrations! here's a few moments I captured from this incredible show!
Just recently I was sent over to the Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi to document a very striking collaborated art exhibition - Aldar Properties teamed up with Greek visual artist Chronis Spanos for a unique artistic initiative, ‘Maraya’.
Maraya, meaning ‘Mirrors’ in Arabic, consists of 30 aesthetically striking and visually distinct portrayals of the capital’s geometry of urban spaces. Chronis transforms architecture, constructive details and angles into unique pieces of abstract art subtly presenting an intriguing juxtaposition of modernity and tradition.
The collection incorporates shots from Yas Viceroy, Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid, Gate Towers, Yas Links, Yas Mall, and the iconic Aldar HQ.
Here is just one shot from the amazing spectacle that was The 44th National Day in Dubai! truly stunning! please find more of my photography on my facebook page! click top right. JB.

Here's one of many super cool shots! Yasmin provided me dancing at an event in the Cargo club, Shoreditch, London.
An insane venue in bowls of Central London was to be the stomping ground for some serious headline Dj's and a couple thousand "right up for it" party animals.
I love images with flavour, I also really enjoy shooting around very cool architecture, so I'm always pleased when the two elements gel together nicely
Nextman performed at 3000 meters in the French Alps! 600 screaming party goers reveled as guest DJ's and Mc's also put their stamp on the evening. Many more images from the night at http://www.the-brits.com/latest/pictures/nextmen-party/britsgallery#4988

The Voices Jazz Ellington
I caught up with Jazz singing an acapella rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’. Followed by some wicked Ed Sheeran covers at a Festival in Brentford.
Once I knew I would be taking pictures of a certain Mr Spinx, my mind started thinking about lighting options straight away. If you like portrait photography as much as myself, you couldn't ask for a better subject. Character, contrast and lines, tell a very honest story.
I frequently work in Dubai for a number of big corporate companies. A large percentage of the photographs I would take would be within exhibitions, conferences, product launches and activations. Some of the spaces these companies would put together i found to be quite stunning.
It's so much fun working with furniture and props, you can add so many other dimensions and layers to an image making a simple idea really pop.

I was commissioned by King & Allen to shoot their fantastic range of men's bespoke business and designers suits. Featured is this image is Jake Allen who is one half of this very professional company. Working with such high quality materials and for a client who knew exactly what they wanted made the photo session a real pleasure.
www.kingandallen.co.uk
When I sourced this location, I knew immediately it would be the perfect place to represent the King & Allen brand.
For all of the groundwork that went into this shoot I'm really pleased with the final images.
The Flyer project was a great little challenge. We aimed to stay as far away from formal photography as possible. More shots from this project can be found on my facebook page. The link is above.
The idea behind this particular brief was to create subtle inviting mood imagery and character within the Gordon Bennett establishment. Look out for their new website coming very soon, where you will be able to see more of my photography from this project.
Alongside taking photos for film and television projects, I really enjoy the photography that comes with a good theatre production.

Many of my friends will know exactly where to find this image... it's such a wonderful piece of engineering and art it deserved a photo.
It's amazing the images you can stumble upon. I found this location whilst working on a brief for a hotel chain. I never thought a car park could look that cool!
This was a great shoot, it's incredible what you can stumble upon on the UK coastline. The beach was literally littered with the most amazing maritime relics. Ps. Thanks Joe, Great Model.
The best part of photography is being creative but it's great that you can have fun at the same time. This particular shot was for a record label.
